Have you ever asked the question, "God, how can I serve you?"

I can't really take any credit for the inspiration which lead to my registering the domain name SonServer.com. It's my belief that God called me to resign my position at Dean Witter Reynolds in Beverly Hills to run His company, and that He has been preparing me, molding and shaping me like clay, since 1996 for a time such as this. God has called me not for anything that I have done, but in spite of what I have done. I will always be a 'work in progress'.

Having been self-employed since 1996 I have gained extensive experience in both the development and hosting of commercial web sites. The three roles which I have most often taken are Team Project Leader, Senior Developer and Web Servant for both church and ministry related web sites.

From 1989 to 1996, prior to launching Lost Horizon Interactive and SonServer.com , I managed a multi-million dollar portfolio of tax-free bonds at Dean Witter Reynolds, a brokerage firm in Beverly Hills, California. It was at Dean Witter that I became aware of the tremendous potential of the Internet as a result of conducting investment research in the booming technology sector. On weekends I would lug my heavy 386 Packard Bell home from the office and connect to local BBSs and Prodigy Internet Service through 28 Kbps dial-up. On my days off I could often be found at Barnes & Noble sipping a tall cup of Starbucks coffee (no room for cream, thank you) while taking notes from a stack of books on HTML.

From 1984 to 1989 I attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles where I pursued a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Business Administration. In 1985 while attending USC, I was recruited as head photographer of a new interstate collegiate magazine which continued to be published until 2003 under under the name of 'The Insider'.
