Emergency Supplies to keep in the Car

Cars, delivery trucks and vans should be equipped with supplies which could be useful in any emergency. Keep gas tank at least 1/4 full. Depending on location, climate of the area, length of commute, average number of adults and children in your vehicle or carpool, personal requirements and other variables, the supplies in the kit might include (but are not limited to) the following:

Blanket or Sleeping bag
Jumper Cables and Tools
Bottled Water
Canned Fruits and Nuts
Can Opener
First Aid Kit
Flashlight
Matches and Candles
Fire Extinguisher
Necessary Medicine
Rain Gear and Extra Clothes
Comfortable Walking Shoes
Tissue, Towlettes
Cash and Coins
Paper, Pencil, Tape

NOTE:  NEVER CARRY GASOLINE IN CONTAINERS OTHER THAN THE CAR'S GAS TANK.
